The Justice Department is investigating the five major US TV networks for possible antitrust violations, opening yet another front in the Trump administration’s pressure campaign against the press.
A federal judge said he will rule by Tuesday on Donald Trump’s ban on CNN, MS NOW and Politico from White House grounds, while he pressed the government’s lawyers on the different justifications offered by the president and in the DOJ’s legal defense.
