Hi all, New member, fairly new to digital cutting too and looking for advice. I'm trying to create "die cut" stickers on our graphtec cutters. I've been doing some experiments and found simple shapes come up pretty well but im looking for settings for more complex shapes. At the moment, I've...
I contacted Graphtec support, and they pointed me to the latest firmware, but the plotter refuses to accept it. Using SEND.EXE, the transfer goes through, the plotter shows it’s receiving data, but at the end I get: “Bad Firmware CE6000” or “Checksum Error” Using the UPDATE.exe app with version 270 is completely unresponsive.
We've got a fc8000 that we're using with flexi 8, using the flexi production suite's production manager. When I set a condition to use a different speed on the plotter, it gets overridden to either a default setting of the hardware or the software. So, when I go to cut a sandblast resist at 20...
Hi everyone Who's doing perf cutting on a Graphtec? I've never bothered but I need to speed up a process and as I am on my own and setting the cutter do some work while I do something else would be a big help. I'm using Onyx and cut server to cut my files. I'm ok with setting this side up...
Has anyone replaced one of the push rollers on their graphtec? I've been having issues with my middle roller having no pressure and I took it apart to see if I could find something. Ended seeing a broken piece of plastic that can from somewhere on the roller assembly. I was thinking about...
Check the version compatibility on the Graphtec website and make sure your version of Illustrator works with CM5. But also, go back to CM4 if you're having issues with 5 and 4 works for you.
I have an old GCC cutter that runs circles around this Graphtec. In order to use the arms sensor you have to waste a ton of material by giving it huge side margins.
I use Corel for design, add registrationmarks woth FineCut, print on my Mimaki using Rasterlink, but can't figure out how to take it to my Graphtec and cut using Cut Master.
Graphtec just recently started working with Onyx on getting their software to work well together, before that Graphtec just said oh well, use our software. Yeah I've done the only patch they have for the FC9000 on my RIP version. It's definitely Onyx because the barcode works perfect through Cut Master.
I am having an issue with my Graphtec FC-9000-140. It is cutting them deep enough in some spots. However, some areas are not deep enough when cutting out on the same job. The blade force is set at max and the depth is very deep and cut all the way through the vinyl a few times. The top knob has...
